New Course Offering: Systems Engineering for Digital Innovations (Winter Semester 19/20)

If you are interested in working creatively with digital technologies and thinking out of the box about sustainability challenges, this is the right course for you!

In the Winter Semester 2019/20, Prof. Jan Recker and Dr. Janek Richter will offer a new Msc. course on the topic Systems Engineering for Digital Innovations. You will learn how to develop innovative sustainability software solutions running on advanced digital technologies.

In a first step you will form teams and define a concrete sustainability innovation challenge that you seek to address. Experimentation with provided digital technologies such as Arduinos including compatible modules and sensors can start right away. In a second step, you and your team develop a software solution running on your chosen digital technology platforms. You are free to extend your project with a budget provided to you. Development will be guided by agile and design-led techniques.

Please be aware that this course offering has only limited seats available. The course is assigned to SM Information Systems IV (1277SinSy4) and can be found in KLIPS2 under the course-ID 14277.0209 once the registration phase begins.
